| Introducing the First Drive Program for Kids |
Wintergreen Golf & Country Club is pleased to introduce the First Drive Program designed for Kids ages 7 to 11, offering a course suited to their ability and skill levels specific to junior tee-offs. “This is a great way to acquaint your children to the sport of golf”, says Matt Mosteller. “Golf is a great sport for the whole family to participate and with Wintergreen being a short 20 minute drive away from Calgary it’s easy to get there too.”
With the First Drive Program kids golf for FREE when an adult Green Fee is purchased, adults are only $30 when golfing with a First Drive Kid. The First Drive Program runs on Monday & Wednesdays at 4pm and Weekends at 5pm, a free drink for both parent and child are included and on the child’s 3rd round they will receive a First Drive cap (quantities limited)!

| NEW CPGA Head Professional |
Wintergreen Golf & Country Club is very excited to have Tom Day as our new Head Golf Professional for the upcoming season. Tom brings with him almost 20 years of experience working in the golf business. Originally from Edmonton, Tom spend the first 20 odd years of his life living there and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and later completing the Golf management program at Grant Macewan College. Tom then moved to southern Alberta, where he spent the better part of 15 years in the town of Canmore, during which time he worked at the Kananaskis Country Golf Course - starting as a cart attendant he worked his way up to Associate Professional!
For the past 3 years Tom has been living in Calgary and has worked at the River Spirit Golf Club, as the Associate Professional.
Tom Day is an excellent addition to our Wintergreen management team - we look forward to working with him to provide an outstanding golf course experience for both our members and guests!
